It is Christmas Eve...

Stars are shining in the sky and the earth is soft with snow
cavemonsters, precious ones, are sleeping in white homes
Rooms are fool of sweetest smell of cakes and gingerbread
happy monster children are dreaming in their beds...

But suddenly the sleeping town gets a creapy feeling-
BANG! what's going on? there's a hole in the ceiling!
A little bogy jumps from it, black with shining teeth,
who is he? look- he stole all the gifts, he must be a thief!

He is stealing Christams gifts from sleeping monstermoms,
and dads and monsterchildren still in beds in their pyjamas!
He took from HydraSnake his little dotted pink umbrella
and from a lightmetalbogie-dog his shining new collar.

Please save the Monster Christmas, became a Santa Clause,
Fulfill the empty stockings, from house to house, don't pause
This Christmas means hard work, but please do keep in mind
that when the night is through, happy monsters gifts will find.

And then you'll be the hero, who saved our Christmas Day
