Mahjong

Mahjong is a game that comes from China. Although proper mahjong is played by four people, there are so many different versions that you can't count them all, and on computers you normally play it alone – as with this version.
At the start of the game, 144 tiles are stacked on top of each other in a pyramid shape. Your task is to clear the board by clicking on matching pairs with your mouse. You have 12 minutes to do so. There are four of every tile on the board, except for those featuring plants and the seasons. There is only one of each of these, but you can pair off any of them together. You get 10 points for every ordinary pair you clear from the board. You get 20 points for clearing pairs of tiles with plants or the seasons on them. There is also a clue button you can press which will show you all of the pairs you can still clear, but each time you use it your score will be reduced by 15 points. If you click on the Play Again button before the end of a game, your score will not be recorded.
